Locazio (LOCAZIO by ICTOOLS SRL) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018.

2. Purposes
Your data is processed for the following purposes: managing quote requests and reservations, answering your messages sent through the contact form, authenticating and managing admin accounts, and improving our service.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on the performance of a contract (preparing and executing quotes and rentals), our legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) and, where applicable, your consent (non-essential cookies).
4. Data we collect
We collect the following data: name, email, phone, company, delivery address, the content of your messages and quote requests, as well as technical cookies necessary for the site to function.
5. Recipients
Your data may be shared with our technical processors: Resend (transactional email delivery), Meilisearch (catalogue search engine) and our hosting provider. No data is transferred outside the European Union without appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention period
Your data is kept for 3 years from our last contact, in line with Belgian practice. Accounting data is kept for the legal retention period of 7 years.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can also withdraw your consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA).
